Lark Reads
Now in our 16th year of growing readers in an anthroposophical community, Meadow Lark is community-owned and run by two bilingual Waldorf teachers and mothers passionate about providing inspiring children's literature to those who seek it. As lifelong bibliophiles, we recommend only books we have personally read and believe would be suitable for inclusion in a home, classroom or school library.
Who: Waldorf-aligned schools (private and public), home programs, anthroposophical organizations and all interested in the thoughtfully curated selection of books we offer as an alternative to “big box” book fairs
What: Our children’s book selections feature an enlivening mix of traditional Waldorf stories, mainstream classics and new books with an emphasis on inclusive + diverse books. We can also tailor your sale to include elementary non-fiction, books on Waldorf education and conscious parenting, as well as any other specific genres or titles we carry.
Where: We can co-host a book fair almost anywhere! Events can be in-person, online or a combination of the two.
When: Book fairs can run from one day to one week long, depending on the type of event selected.
Why: Earn 15% to 20% of sales as a simple and well-received fundraiser for more books or as a donation.
How: Text us at 845-474-2258 or send an email to hellolarkreads@icloud.com with the subject title “Book Fair Questionnaire” and we’ll get started answering your questions!
